Executive summary of the QRidian Holmebrook Valley Park Pilot evaluation (April 2026), featuring participant density heatmaps, engagement metrics (121km total distance, 91% completion rate), and a scatter plot of participant archetypes including Master Pathfinders and Immersive Chroniclers

This document evaluates a multi-modal field activation framework held at Holmebrook Valley Park on April 18, 2026.

1. Spatial Distribution Visualizations

  • Strategic Value Distribution Map: A grayscale park map showing potential point values assigned to locations. Objectives are weighted to move activity away from busy areas; for example, high-value targets like "Margery Weaver" are worth 1,840 points in quiet areas, while "Jack Austin" in high-traffic zones is worth 40 points.
  • Actual Participant Density Map: A satellite heatmap showing participant movement. High activity (red/orange) is concentrated along the central lake paths and specific trail junctions, while green areas show broader exploration across the park's diverse natural features.

2. Key Engagement Metrics

  • Total Civic Footprint: 121 km.
  • Total Human Steps (Estimated): 158,671.
  • Total Event Time: 210 minutes.
  • Individual Completion Rate: 91%.
  • Participant Age Range: 6 to 80+ years.

3. Behavioral Analysis

  • Participant Engagement Types: A scatter plot correlates "Narrative Engagement (Mins)" with "Trades Completed".
    • Master Pathfinders: High-performing hybrids with high trading and high narrative engagement.
    • Tactical Strategists: High trading but low reading/narrative engagement.
    • Immersive Chroniclers: High narrative engagement but low trading.
    • Exploratory Wanderers: Low levels of both trading and narrative engagement.
  • Transaction Economy: The event recorded 24 face-to-face negotiated trades and 68 forged in-game items.

4. Summary Findings The pilot successfully validated a dynamic incentive framework that encourages wide exploration while maintaining a low-impact, harmonious presence for regular park visitors.
